Calling all pizza peeps, this one’s for you. It’s time to ditch delivery (I mean, between that time our pizza arrived with a little nibble missing or when our pie showed up colder than the shoulder your ex threw at you when you ran into each other at the grocery store…) & own your inner Leonardo DOUGH-vinci. With just a handful of simple ingredients, including a secret sparkly little somethin’ somethin’ that rhymes with struggles, which is typically our vibe when we order a 3am ‘meh’ pizza after a night on the town.

Get ready to say domi-NO MORE to delivery and yes to delicious, cheesy, crusty goodness that’ll have you and your friends & fam yelling MAMA MI-YASSS. So grab your rolling pin & fire up that oven, it’s time to slice & spice up pizza night.

What You'll Need...

  • 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour (may substitute whole wheat flour for 1 cup of the all-purpose)1(1/4 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chilled Original Bubbles (colder the better)
  • 1⁄2 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cornmeal, for sprinkling

What You'll Do...

  1. In a bowl, combine the JUST Original Bubbles, sugar and yeast. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl using a wooden spoon, or in a stand mixer using the dough hook, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until a soft ball forms. On a lightly floured surface or in a stand mixer, knead the dough for 5 minutes or until smooth.
  3. Shape the dough into a ball and place in a lightly floured bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm, humid place for about 2 hours or until the dough has doubled in volume.

Pizza Preparation

  1. Lightly grease two 12-inch pizza pans.
  2. Sprinkle with a little bit of cornmeal.
  3. Divide dough in half.
  4. Place each half on a pizza pan and pat it with your fingers until it stretches over the whole pan.
  5. Try to make it thicker around the edge.
  6. If desired, pre-bake at 425 F for 10 minutes (I don't always do this).
  7. Then spread with pizza sauce and use the toppings of your choice.
  8. Bake at 425 F for 10-20 minutes longer or until bubbly and hot.
  9. Makes 2 12-inch pizzas.
